Test and Analysis of the Protection Efficiency of a New Type Thermal Sleeve

Abstract As an additional part of the artillery barrel, thermal sleeve is a cladding made insulation or conductive material mounted on outer surface which can greatly reduce bending deformation caused by sunlight exposure thus improving shooting accuracy artillery. In this paper, new type diamond barrel protection efficiency tested and analyzed, after testing, be as high 71.6%, much higher than ordinary sleeve’s performance, so research great significance to improve
